DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery to addresses within the UK & Isle of Man 

Our charges for delivery (inclusive of VAT) to addresses within the UK and Isle of Man are:
 
For orders of LESS than £25.00
Delivery Charge = £2.95
For orders of £25.00 or more
Delivery Charge = FREE

When you place your order on our website, the applicable delivery charge is automatically and clearly displayed when you view your on-line ‘shopping basket’ and prior to you confirming your order.

When you order by telephone, we will tell you the applicable delivery charge when your order is placed.

Delivery to Addresses within the European Union (excluding UK and Isle of Man)

Our charges for delivery (inclusive of VAT) to addresses within the European Union (excluding UK and Isle of Man) are:

 
For orders of any value with a packaged weight not exceeding 1kg
Delivery Charge = £5.00

For orders with a packaged weight exceeding 1kg

Delivery Charge = Depends on Weight of Parcel - see below.

Before we process your order we will advise you if the packaged weight exceeds 1kg and quote the Delivery Charge for your order. If the quoted delivery charge is not acceptable to you then you are free to cancel your order.

Our charges for delivery to addresses within Europe (excluding countries that are members of the European Union) are:

For orders of any value with a packaged weight not exceeding 1kg
Delivery Charge = £5.00

For orders with a packaged weight exceeding 1kg

Delivery Charge depends on weight of parcel - see below.

Our charges for delivery to addresses within the Rest of the World (excluding Europe) are:

For orders of any value with a packaged weight not exceeding 1kg
Delivery Charge = £10.00

For orders with a packaged weight exceeding 1kg

Delivery Charge depends on weight of parcel - see below.

          DESPATCH

          We know at Cottontail Crafts that Crafters are generally an impatient breed and once they have placed an order they want it delivered as quickly as possible! (I'm the same!!)

          We do our utmost to ensure that orders received before 3pm on Monday to Friday and noon on Saturdays are packed and despatched on the same day. Items received after these times or on Sundays will be despatched the next working day.

          The majority of orders are sent by Royal Mail from our local Post Office which is located opposite our shop in Settle.

          Once we have posted your order we are in the hands of Royal Mail for delivery to your address, but I have to commend them as they rarely let us down. 

          If for any reason we are unable to despatch your order as quickly as we would like then we will contact you to let you know and give you the opportunity to amend your order. 

          If your order includes products which are not available from stock, we will contact you to ask how you wish to proceed. You will be offered the following options: 

          1. To receive your order in more than one delivery in which case you will be charged only one delivery charge (if applicable).
             
          2. To wait until all the products are available and receive them in one delivery
             
          3. To cancel your order. 

          Your order will normally be sent by Royal Mail for addresses in the UK and Air Mail for addresses in other countries. In the event that this service is unavailable for any reason, we will endeavour to send your goods by an alternative, equivalent service.

          You can check whether your order has been despatched by logging in to My Account on the Cottontail Crafts home page.

          Please ensure that you specify the delivery address correctly. We are not responsible for goods that have not been received if the specified delivery address is incomplete or incorrect. If you are unsure of the correct format for the delivery address then please check your details on the Royal Mail website. or the website appropriate for the country to which the delivery has been requested.

          CANCELLATION & RETURNS POLICY WHEN GOODS ARE NOT FAULTY

          This Cancellation & Returns Policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

          You can cancel your order before delivery and up to 14 calendar days after delivery. To do this, please e-mail us at: sue@cottontailcrafts.co.uk.

          We will refund your money, including the original postage charges, within 14 calendar days of you returning the goods or providing evidence that they have been returned. Proof of Postage will be sufficient evidence of goods being returned.

          If you only cancel part of an order, then we will not refund any of the original postage charges.

          If you only cancel part of an order, the value of which has qualified you for free delivery of your original order, then you will become liable for a postage charge for your original order which we will deduct from the refunded value of the returned goods.

          You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to our customers in the future.

          If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You are responsible for the risk of loss or damage when you return goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. 

          If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them and we will charge you the direct cost of collection.

          If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

          RETURNS POLICY WHEN GOODS ARE FAULTY

          If there is a problem with the goods we have delivered, please phone us to discuss the matter on 01729 822946

          Alternatively, you can e-mail us on sue@cottontailcrafts.co.uk

          Please give a brief explanation as to why you believe the goods to be faulty. You should endeavour to contact us as soon as possible after delivery of the goods.

          Please note that we will not accept the return of faulty goods where you fail to notify us before returning them. 

          If we accept that there could be a problem with the goods then we will request that you return them to us. You are responsible for the risk of loss or damage when you return goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. 

          If the returned goods are found to be faulty and comprised the whole of our delivery to you then, within 14 days, we will refund the money you paid for the goods (including the original postage charges) and any reasonable charges incurred by you in returning the goods.

          If the returned goods are found to be faulty and comprised only a part of our delivery to you then, within 14 days, we will refund the money you paid for the goods (excluding the original postage charges) and any reasonable charges incurred by you in returning the products. 

          If the returned goods are found not to be faulty then, subject to you paying the postage charge, the goods will be returned to you. In this instance, we will not refund the money you paid for the goods.
